Sewing for the procrastinator

Week 40 and still no Baby.
Today I am making burp cloths for my baby. I don't really think that a tutorial is necessary to sew a rectangle, but here it goes:
Cut two rectangles of fabric. I used a towel that I bought at Ikea and cotton fabric that I have had forever.
Cut two pieces and pin them with the right sides together. I used an old burp cloth for measurement.
Sew all the way around leaving a 1cm edge but leave about 6cm for turning.
Make sure that you cut back your seam allowance and your corners.
Turn it right side out and pick out the corners. Iron it no matter what; that is important for a clean finish.
Then, sew all around with 1cm and you are done. This is really cool for the scraps that are too big to cut up but two small to sew clothes. If you want to give it a more quilted look, you can sew a pattern or a zig zag on it. I wanted to be done with it so I left them plain.
