I used to be a shirt.

Have you been infected by the Pinterest Bug yet? I know I have and right now I am very thankful for it because it keeps me busy while I am laying around.  You find so many things that inspire and todays inspiration is the T-shirt scarf.  Sorry about the crappy pictures but I think you get my drift.
Find a shirt that you won't mind cutting up. I used a fairly short shirt the next time I think I will use a mens shirt in extra large.
Make a straight cut underneath the armpits. ( I think armpits is a gross word)

Now cut strips in your shirt as long as you want and as thick as you want. The longer you cut the longer fringe you will have (duh)
Now you pull it so that it gets that curly stretched out look. I also put a knot in every tail but you can leave it as is. Or thread a bead on it and then knot it whichever you prefer.
This shirt was a medium and you can see how far it hangs down. I like it and I think I will do it again with a bigger shirt. Took me about 20 minutes so it was an instant gratification project. ( And yes I am repeating myself) It's the pregnancy brain.
